Matchfire adds to its strategic partnerships with addition of CSR Leaders Carol Cone and Elizabeth Davis
NEW YORK, December 15, 2016 – Marketing and technology company, Matchfire, announces the addition of strategic consulting partners Carol Cone and Elizabeth Davis.
Cone and Davis will consult on Matchfire’s clients’ purpose programs as senior counsel and purpose counsel, respectively. Matchfire and Carol Cone—who first partnered in 2015 through Cone’s Purpose Collaborative—began working on select Matchfire client programs in 2016, and will expand on this work in 2017.
Matchfire has provided marketing strategy to businesses and causes for more than a decade—from incubating startups in-house to global brands. Today’s announcement of the addition of Cone and Davis as counsel marks Matchfire’s continued growth of its strategic services.
“At Matchfire, data is our fuel and purpose is our spark,” said Matchfire Chief Executive Officer, Chris Noble. “Over the last two years, we’ve built up our data infrastructure so that we can better serve both for profit and nonprofit clients. This partnership with Carol Cone represents us building our purpose muscle as well. Carol is well-renowned in the field, and we are very happy to be working with her on new and exciting projects.”
Cone—who has led and shaped the dialogue on CSR and cause marketing—has worked for more than 30 years building relationships between companies, brands, and social issues resulting in deep shifts in impact and value for all stakeholders. Davis, a Truman Scholar and Leed Green Associate, brings with her experience leading millennial strategies for Coca-Cola’s sustainability practice and foundation.
“Over the past 30 years we have seen the cause landscape dramatically change,” said Cone. “It is no longer if an organization will engage with society for business and societal benefit, it is now about the how to do it. Our work with clients thrives from best in class data insights, and creative and digital services. We could not have found a better partner than Matchfire.”
Matchfire, Cone, and Davis are currently engaged with Fortune 100 brands working with them to identify their cause ambition and purpose direction.
